Hello all!
I am about to build a 125-150 gallon tank. I have some questions I would like to ask beforehand.
1. What dimensions are best? (72x22x18, 72x18x22, 72x21x21, or any other measurments)
2. How big will the stand have to be if it is a 72'' tank?
If you could help me out, that would be great! If you would like to provide any other advise, feel free! You guys are the experts!

A tank with more surface area would be best for keeping more livestock, so longer and wider. The stand would be about the same dimensions as the tank in length and width.

What about glass width?
My current tank spec Idea is 72 long, 22 wide, 22 tall. Sould I go 1/2'' thickness?
Thanks

for 72x22x22 if you use acrylic you should go 1/2" no doubt.. For glass you have an option. 9mm or a little under 3"8 of an inch(3.12) or anything inbetween up to 12mm little under 1/2" inch (5.02)...the numbers in parenthesis are saftey factor numbers.. For instance the recommended and standard safety factor on glass is around 3.8, so you can get away with 3/8" for this tank which will be right around the safety factor, that is you dont have any kids, your not worrying about anything banging off the glass etc. If you want to be extra safe and have the $ then you should go with 1/2" which means that it could take a little more "abuse" ( i use this term very loosely in this situation)and be safer, also take into consideration what you will have in htis tank. IMO if your putting 200 punds of live rock with a 2" live sand bed, you may want to go with the 1/2" glass , Most pet store tanks use 3/8" for their 180 gallon tanks if that helps out also.
Anymore questions just lemme know
