Over the years there have been many that have tried,,,but I have not heard of one that actually worked.

yeah, i think that would work, as long as you don't mind having a refrigerator sitting next to your display tank, you could get some old tires to stack up next to the fridge too how bad do you need a chiller? my point is, if it is a necessity and you're serious about your investment(s), IMO you would be better off just buying a chiller.

Those fridge untils work to a certain degree (lol, no pum intended) The might help to lower temps a single degree or two but if they worked good your see a lot more peope using em.

Just buy one of those small friges, and put in next to your tank. Then you could put your fish foods that need to stay cool in there...along with some beer!
