beta.....thaaaaankkkk youuuuuuuuu.
steve.. come-on bro... im an artist, precision is my game. good lookin out but what i did was: when you go to glue, put the primer inside all the cups and use the clear glue on the outside tubing that way when you push it into the hole all the purple is there and stays inside. i know that primer goes on first and then the glue but if you push it together wet then it all mixes, right?
bigtyguy... thanks and have fun.

I was just going to say the same thing. I had a Mag that was used externally and I hated it. Switched to a Quiet One and no more problems. My next question to you is this....Are you getting the flow that you want from that Mag 3. That is sure a small pump for a closed loop....that SCWD eats up gph. Other than that the design looks top notch.

Then you definately are an artist!

My SCWD eats up about 200gph. I have a mag 9.5 return pump with an amiracle 600gph overflow. I have the stockman standpipe mod in my overflow (1-1/4" pipe) and I have the mag 9.5 wide open and they do well together. You might have to turbocharge that mag3.

so far the only problem that i have with my mag3 is that is makes a little bit of noise. inside my stand that isnt really a problem because i close it all up and no more noise, i just dont like the idea of it. for my 20 gallon long the two outlets are plenty. plus i have another full open mag 3 on my return from sump, you can see it in one of the pics above. matter of fact, im getting too much flow on one side...the arrangement of my live rock causes the stream to blast my sand and kick it up a bit.
thanks for the heads up jason, why did you hate it??

jeffro... i live in the rivermarket so the closest one to me and best for equipment and liverock is the reef house on the corner of main and westport. the best one for livestock is without a doubt paradise aquatics on 118th and metcalf... i think that is considered grandview or overland park kansas though, not far away. the guys at the reef house are very honest and helpful. paradise aquatics guys almost act like they hate their job and hate the fact that you are there??? i dont know why, but like i said before if your looking for kick ass livestock check out that place. i dont have much to trade (only softies). i am looking for zoanthids and would be willing to pay you for a few polyps if your interested??
oh, are there any good lfs in lawrence, im planning a trip there this weekend?

norway,
thanks a ton for the info i plan on hitting all of them on saturday. unfortunatly the only good LFS was Jayhawk tropical fish and they went out of business on the 26th of Feb. Which really stinks bc now i have to buy RO/DI water before i did trade ins for store credit. other than that there is petworld on 23rd and Lousinana sp but they jack up there prices like nothing. they have alright stuff but the prices are like 3 corals for 130$ or 1 for 65$ which would be ok if the corals weren't brown zoos and mushroom rocks. whatever.
as far as trading don't think you don't have much. if i don't have it i'll want to trade for it. i have a few basic zoos and a lot of shrooms and ricordia. a few different leather frags and so other fragable stuff so let me know.

i have some yellow polyps, gsp, and a green striped shroom. the gsp is still a small frag itself and the shroom is all alone so the yellow polyps are all i can spare right now. i could give you a small cluster of polyps, maybe 3-5. as i said before i would be willing to pay $10 -$20 for some zoo's if your interested.
