DIY kalk drip w/ IV drip?

Is it possible to make a kalk drip using a IV drip and tubing? If so does anyone have any suggestions and/ or tips for doing this? I would like to have a three gallon container to hold the kalkwasser and drip 1 gallon a day into my sump.
Thanks

Works fine, you do need the syringe to start the flow.

You just drip this in your bigger tanks to keep the Alk and the Ca up right? What is the standard gallons of drip per day per tank size?

Not really a "standard" GPD it all depends on the size of you tank and the fish/coral load. Every tank is different

i mixed my kalk in an old salt bucket with an old power the day before last and siphoned a gallon out today...i dont know how i am going to drip it yet so it is just sitting under the tank now...lol...i hadnt figured it out so that it fits under my stand and drips about a gallon/day...i think tomorrow i will go to my local medical supply store and see if i can get me one of those syringes and a gang valve
