DIY lights

I want to add more lights to my 20gal tank and wanted to try and build it myself. Can you buy a fixture from a local hardware store that works with coral life bulbs?????? Or any other types? Has anyone done this before?

well, that's the brand I have know, but any lights that can grow low light corals? I am confused about the t5, etc.. thing.
