i was thinking of making some diy live rock over the christmas break to give me something to do. ive never done a project like this before but it seems pretty simple. the only thing is that the rock needs to be cured for several weeks in water with some sort of flow untill the pH lowers. i dont have a container small enough to do this indoors and was wondering if the rock could be placed in my large pond/stream system for the curing process? (i would obviously rinse the rock/dry it etc... before it would go from the pond to any of my tanks)
