"2' x 2' polish aluminum, mirror finished reflector sheet for metal halide lighting. Includes holes for mounting one mogul based metal halide socket holder. Easy to bend to fit into your existing canopy."

If you can get the special reflective aluminum you will have better results. I tested PAR on a T5 reflector that looked like a very close knock off of the Ice Cap reflector but it was just polished aluminum instead of the Miro material Ice Cap used. Over a 25% difference in output.

I thought I saw were some were using the solar tubes for these..How do they fare with the I.C Reflectors? Or is that what you were referring to?
 
i am actually doing this exact same diy reflector plan, do you know if it would fit a 400watt se mh? also where can i find sheet aluminum? i found stainless steel, but thats pricey, and i work for the military... any ideas would be great.

400w would fit the original plans from long ago.....You want to use the highest grade reflective material as you can.
