FWIW on auto top offs.
Please keep in mind that auto top offs add water when the sump goes below a certain level.
And sump level goes down due to evaporation and blockage/failure/restrictions in the overflow/drain system.
So it is possible for the system be be adjusted correctly and not flood the display with no auto top off.
And for the display to flood because an failure in the overflow/drain kicked in the auto top off.
So IMHOyou might consider a pump turn off based on display water level.
Or just use some kind of drip system instead of an auto top off.
I would definately not recommend any top off system where the possible amount of top off added is essentially unlimited.
