DIY VHO fun fun fun

Hey guys... looking to give myself a handy man award. I want to add 2 48" VHO to supplement my MH bulbs and need to know how to put this together. (Obviously need ballast, grounded power cord and waterproof endcaps) but where can I get quality stuff for cheap if I'm willing to do it myself? Thanks for the recommendations!

Also, try doing a search online for VHO retrofit kits, or Happy Reefing. There are TONS of places out there that sell them. And speaking from expereince, it is not a difficult project.

Did 150 watts over my 20 Gallon Nano. Used a ballast from an electrical supply house here in town, some Ice Cap waterproof endcaps (for sale on this site) and 2 24" URI 50/50 bulbs purchased from a local source .....
Fairly easy and I was freaking out about it - ask Broncofish - I had him on the phone like 5 times with the projcet and it turned out to be as easy as pie.
Oh - you'll also need a plug and some wire if you buy a seperate ballast - so you can hook your ballast into you poweroutlet ....
