Do Aquaclear powerfilters fit oceanic tanks?

I have an Oceanic 50 gal. tank which I am running sumpless. I want to buy an Aquaclear Powerfilter so I can have a good place to put my Rowaphos and maybe run some carbon from time to time (mostly just for Rowaphos and the extra water movement). I just wanted to know if this fit Oceanic tanks? Oceanics have a wider rim than Top fin and All glass aquariums and my old Whisper filter wouldn't fit on this wider trim. Is anyone here running an Aquaclear on an Oceanic? If so, whats the clearance from the back of the tank to the wall on whatever model you are running? I think I only have about 4 inches to work with.

They should fit. The lip of the AC 110 is almost 1 1/2" you will need right at 5" from the wall to the tank. That is if you get the AC 110's 5"'s will give you a little room to play with if you need to work on the filter

I have a 54 gal corner by AGA, and just put a 50 AqCl on it. I had to trim the inside flat rim off, it worked. The lip on this unit is bigger then my last 55 standard AGA tank. You need about 2 and 3/4" from wall to back of tank for the 50 AqCL!

Thanks for the replies. So B-town, the AC 50 model only requires about 3 inches of space between the wall and back of your tank? If so, that's perfect. The AC 50 model is the one I was wanting to get.
