Will my bicolor angelfish eat copepods? My tank is swarming and I mean swarming with them! Its like salt scattered all over my glass and you can see them climbing all over the rocks like crazy! I was going to get a manderin but they were out of stock. Was wondering if my angelfish will eat them?
(they are in the quarentine tank right now for another 4 weeks)

Yes he will. What other fish do you have? are you trying to sustain them? you have to feed the bicolor algaes as well. Pods arent the main diet. I have one and it loves spirluna. YUM feed that daily

Just about any fish will eat copepods. It should not be the main diet of the BiColor. You need to feed them food designed for Angelfish. They need sponge in their diet. I really like Hikari's Mega-Marine Angel frozen food (all my fish eat this, but it has the sponge and vitamins that the angel needs). Also add Spirulina enriched brine shrimp. My angel won't go near seaweed strips, however most do. I prefer Brown Algae sheets with garlic.

Well when the angel was in the main tank he ate angel foods and so forth and even picked at brown algae sheets. Left all my coral along so far. I thought to keep him fed well and keep stearing clear of the coral (ive read) I thought he could continue satisfying himself on these little bugs.
I honestly dont know how it happened. I ordered 1000 of these things more then 6 months ago and hardly saw a few. Now that the tank is set up again its insane how many are in there!
