In the natural Reef World many Corals open at night. But In our little Reef Worlds we tend to buy and see the ones that do the opposite close at night and open during the day...... As you progress you will encounter more of the ones you like that only spread their feeders or tentacles at night. A few examples that we would often keep in out tanks are Trumpets- Candy Cane Corals and Acans......But they are examples that are still pretty to look at during the day.
