Do Damsels Eat Xenia?

my xenia is being eaten! i am just wondering if the culprits are my 2 damsels, i believe i heard that damsels will eat xenia, they were being eaten before and then it stopped, now it has started again!:notsure:

I have 2 xenias, and 3 damsels...dont pick at all at mine.

YES! Reef safe my eye! My black neons were biting the stalks off and just spitting them out.

anyone know what i can do to get them to stop? feed them more?

My cousins yellow tang was doing the same thing. Never did figure out why, but his Xenia grow like weeds and any help he can get to keep them from taking over the tank he's cool with.

THATS WHO DONE IT!!! i have had this piece of green star polyps that came of the multi rock i bought so kept placing it in a crevace of a rock hoping it would grow, but every time i would place it, it would always fall down! and i just thought it got loose on its own or something, mabey the current by now i know its that damsel too! i have a yellow tail also!
