do fish fins heal

I put in a yellow eyed tang with a very large domino damsel, and it roughed up the tang quite a bit. His fins are torn up a lot, will they grow back?

I had a puffer chew on my Clowns fins, and they grew back.

Been my experience that the can and will heal, so Yep.
Perhaps doing a water change and adding some stress coat might help the tang.
I would also suggest removing the domino, I had one that was very large and was the terror of the tank, must have killed at least 3 or 4 fish. I will never use the damsals again other than the peaceful blue/green chromis.

The fins will grow back. Maintain good water quality, and feeding a good diet will help the process along.

Ok, thanks! I have removed the domino damsel and I will add some of that stress releaving stuff.

If you have a skimmer on the tank then you will want to shut it off for a little while. If you add the stress coat into the tank, with the skimmer running, it will cause your skimmer to create a lot of foam.
