Yeah, they do move according to light there professor. But they don't move like shrimp, fish, snails, or whatever. It takes a goodly amount of time for them to "crawl" towards the better light. The shroom's head may tilt towards the better light, but its base doesn't start trailing immediately I dont think. In a newer tank, or one that has not really had a chance to establish, LIKE YOURS
, it may take much longer. Keep in mind, corals don't propegate in poor water quality. Not that you have poor water, they just don't grow as well. Sammy explained to me that corals are hardier than people give them credit for, but to truly thrive, they need ideal conditions.
