Noob here. So I currently have a 58 gallon thats almost a month old with 38 lbs lr (will get more), 40 lbs live sand with about 10 lbs of crushed coral mixed in towards the bottom, 10 blue leg hermits, 10 astria snails, 10 margarita snails, 3 scarlet hermits, a small cluster of tiny feather dusters that hitchhiked in on the lr, and about 1000 copepods. My diatom bloom has finally started to die off and now all thats left is a little hair algae on the rocks and glass. Should I start feeding the inverts? And I also read somewhere on here that I should feed my lr anyway. If yes to either what should I be feeding besides algae sheets?

If you have no fish you need to feed some to your hermits and snails.
Most of the time we feed the fish and thay get what the fish do not get or eat.

get pellets that drop to the bottom not float
you can use flakes but if you do don't sprinkle them on top, let them go under water so they sink. careful not to feed too much

the lfs gave me a bag of this red algae (sorry I already forgot what it is called) she said they would eat that and it would reduce the nitrates in my water, which are currently at 50 (wince). I got a little bottle of phytoplankton for my tiny feather dusters. Will this stuff work or should I go get some pellets?
