Do I have enough Filtration?

For some reason I keep getting this weird feeling about my filtration

. KK I have a 55g setting up for community reef and am running a Vertex IN-100 skimmer in sump, a 10g fuge but its filled about 75% before it drains into the sump. I'm also using 50lbs live rock and 50lbs base rock. I actually tried to buy a wet/dry from a place and they told me not to because my skimmer is more than adequate to handle the mechanical filtration. I keep thinking I need some sort of power filter or a wet/dry. The skimmer is reccommended for a 125g tank if that matters.

I would think you are pretty good but it depends on how big your bio load is I guess

I have a 90G system with 90-100ibs of all live rock with a ASM G2 protein skimmer in sump and thats been doing a pretty good job...almost too good. I am using a 200M sock in the sump as well. I notice no fishy smell to the tank which is a great determinator of crap in the water being taken out.
