Do i need a light?

I am settin up a qt and i was wondering if i need a light for the tank?

You don't have to use a light for a QT.
Most people do though because it makes it easier to view the fish.

Yes, I have a light on my QT.
Your gonna be observing the fish for illness etc while its in the QT
so having the light is simply going to allow you get a better look
at things such as the gills and scales.
You do not need a fancy light - just use like an All-Glass strip light they don't cost much.
