This is the tricky part...this is where I would go to the grocery store and buy some shrimp, eat some, and toss a couple in the tank for a few days. Either you will see more ammonia production (to spur the cycle), or you won't (an indication the tank has cycled but you should probably see some nitrate).
Your specific gravity is low if you intend to keep invertebrates. OK for fish only though. The coralline will grow back over time. It is not abnormal to get die off at this period.

Tested the water b4 adding shrimp....
2 days
30 gallon long tank
110w lights
skimmers got skimmage
400 gallons/hour flow
40 lbs LR
SG 1.023
Temp. 79
Ammonia 8.0
Nitrate 0.0
Nitrite 0.0
So I have enough ammonia, no need for shrimp.

mine was maxed out on my tank 6.0 and it was higher but I had no way of telling. I was happy with 6.0 8.0 is a big jump and would really give your tank a big push to have a "large" bacteria colony. The higher the amonia the better you are "on a cycle at least".

what ever happened to druluvs input on this subject I was loving his aggrivated responses

I think the shrimp works extremely well as stated above, much better than cycling with live fish, as stated above. Although if your curing your rock I am unsure as to whether you should use a shrimp if your already curing rock, but I would throw a small one in anyway and let it decompse a bit to speed up the process.
