Do I need glass tops?

I'm putting a PC light hood on my tank but don't know if I should leave the top of the tank open or do I need to get some glass covers for the openings?

If you have jumpers, you need a cover, whether glass or eggcrate.

I've got 2 false perc clowns, a yellow tang and a blue hippo tang. Are any of these jumpers? I have heard that clowns will jump but I've never seen any evidence of it with my clowns.

no, none of those are jumpers. Firefish are jumpers. The description of the fish will tell you they are jumpers and to make sure you're tank is covered.

If you end up using the glass tops, understand they will affect the spectrum getting into the tank and hold heat in.

Don't worry Mr. Tank police. It's a little feller and when he gets all growed up he'll go into a bigger tank.
