Do I need to feed my hermits?

My tank is in the 4th week of cycling. I have no fish yet but got a cleaning crew to help with the algae. I have 2 turbo snails and 4 hermit ( 2 blue leg and 2 scarlet). Do they have enough food just from the algae in the tank, or do I have to feed them?
I have a 12 gal aquapod.

I would feed them an extremely small amount since they also meat eaters. Really, really small amount.

Picked cabbage and lasagne.

A real small amount of flakefood or whatever you plan on feeding your fish.

Oh sorry... Yeah, fishfood, flkes, anything...
Or you can go with lasagna...that's what I'd like.
