Do I still need to invest in a protein skimmer?

I am under the assumption that the aquaclear pro 150 comes with a skimmer. Should I still buy a better one? And if I do how would I adjust my wet/dry?

Those things can hardly be called skimmers. First off the hang on ones are never as good as the in sump models but any skimmer may be better than none at all. And the noise!
A decent skimmer will cost over 150.00 but you can find some deals here and there.
If nothing else a good Berlin Classic will do a fair to good job. A real good brand name are the Euro Reef skimmers.
Are you looking for hang on or in sump.

Dam* my eyes. I thought you ment one like the skilter.
Still I do not trust those all in one wet/dry -skimmers, some do work well for people but I like the fact that I can tank mine out of the sump to work on, not have to disconect the whole thing to service it.
