Do i use tape to thread when plumbing my system?

That white plumbers tape you use to thread lines on regular household...am I supposed to do the same with reef plumbing? or do i just thread the lines in?

The white Teflon tape? I use it whenever I see a threaded connection.

I use that white plumbers tape on all threaded connections. I don't have any leaks. And PVC cemment on male/female connections.

Ucmught have small leaks if u dont use the white tape.

cool. o only have a couple threaded parts...and thats at the ends of the lines so a dribble wontmatter since its right where the loc liens are. I jsut wnated make sure it dont leach.

If you use it, it's easier to thread the pieces together.... and easier to remove later.
