Do they work to remove PO4? I'm considering a polyfilter for my nano[22g w/refugium & sump]. It would fit between the baffles of the sump and force water through instead of around. But do they actually work?

I had problems with phosphates before and the only thing that took care of it was a phosban reactor 150. From .1 to 0 within two weeks and it is also wiping out the long hair green algae. Just my $.02
i never saw much phosphate reduction with polyfilters. but i think they are good for d.o.c.'s. i use one every now and then on my 10, since it's skimmerless.
