just wanted to know if they loose there shell like crabs do?

tableforglasses Member Dec 6, 2004 #5 my cleaner shrimp will usually dissappear for a day or two and then I will see an exoskeleton floating around the tank, and when he comes back out he looks a little bigger than he did before. All part of the growth process. Sean

clarkiiclo Active Member Dec 7, 2004 #6 My pair of Coral banded shrimp molt at least once a month. Each time they are a bit bigger. They have probally doubled in size in the last 6 months.
