do shrimp mult like crabs?

just wanted to know if they loose there shell like crabs do?

i have a exo skelton of a shrimp all in tacked its dont look like he was eaten..

I see them all the time. Srimp are all fine in my tank. I have two of them in my tank and I see a shell about once a week.

my cleaner shrimp will usually dissappear for a day or two and then I will see an exoskeleton floating around the tank, and when he comes back out he looks a little bigger than he did before. All part of the growth process.

My pair of Coral banded shrimp molt at least once a month. Each time they are a bit bigger. They have probally doubled in size in the last 6 months.
