I have never been able to find what was needed at lowes or home depot its not an everyday thing in the plumbing world its more of a soecialty item for plumbing tanks together.. I would look online though because in a local shop they can get pricey!!

usually not just the bottom is tempered. some upper end tanks are tempered all around but it costs more so usualy just the bottom

no do a search for aquarium bulkheads or reef plumbing that sort of thing and it should bring something up

honestly just go with 2 overflows verses 3 as it is all that is needed in a 125, i have 4 in my 300 and its a lookdown and i still think its overkill.

that would work I would also add in ball valves for fine tuning the flow rates on each of the bulkheads.

First get yourself a "Mega Overflow Kit" - the online stores with catalogs carry them. Can't say more than that here. Then you can drill your two holes low on the side you want, attach both bulkhead fittings that come with them, and then use 90' elbow fittings to turn up, from there you should be able to figure it out. Buy the kit and use the fittings to determine outside diameter and drill 1/32 - 1/16 bigger.

ok what i need to know is the kit is just about what i was going to do but it only Handles a flow-through rate of 600 gph so i am going to have to do 3 right ????? for the pump im using right.
