They do puff but it only happens if thier stressed or threatened. If he puff and none of the two are the cause then it was and accidental automated reaction. Its a beautiful puffer good luck with it

If you want to stay with the cleaning crew i suggest not to get it. So if you get it like sharkbait said he is going to eat them, beacuse those are his yummies. They are very pertty but they eat everything from cleaning crew to inverts. Thats the sad part. Well hopefully our suggestions have helped you.

If you want to stay with the cleaning crew i suggest not to get it. So if you get it like sharkbait said he is going to eat them, beacuse those are his yummies. They are very pertty but they eat everything from cleaning crew to inverts. Thats the sad part. Well hopefully our suggestions have helped you.

Mine never touched hermit crabs or snails. Awesome, peaceful fish with lots of personality. The only thing it targeted were small shrimp.
