...post a single pic of something hobby related? Each member post one single pic...anything hobby related...mention Camera and some general photo info. If possible describe settings and any other basic info. Maybe we can share pics and exchange pic taking tips. If nothing else we can share favorite pics. Heck in the reef forum we post 6 paks all the time...maybe we can develop a pic of the day theme here. remember just a single pic and some basic info.
This is a pic of a section of my 5 month old 100 display. My camera is a Cannon S45...this pic was taken from about 4' in front of the aquarium using a tripod. Settings were auto with no zoom and the flash turned off. I was trying to get a decent pic of my kole tang. Not great photo quality but it does give a general idea of what I see in person.

This is my true percula clownfish in his rose bubble-tip anemone. Taken with a Minolta Dimage F3000 camera on macro-mode, although it isn't very macro. No tripod, no flash.

Here's a pic of my Yellow Clown Goby sitting in his Elkhorn Montipora.
The shot was taken with a Sony DSC-P7 a foot or so away from the front glass. I'm no photographer, so I just pick up the camera and shoot whenever I see a subject I like.

Close up on my favorite zoo colony.
Picture was taken with a MX200 2.0MP( Visioneer ). For the price it cost it takes decent pictures. No flash, no tripod, just macro mode with about 1.5x zoom.
Enjoy!

magic carp was right on....the reason i have it in my sort of dsb (3 inches) is cause it does clean it very well.....but as mc said it does eat the micro fuana which is bad....but i have my dsb in my fuge that doesn't get sifted....so it works in this case

Thanks mc and reefer! My uncle's 10 gal tank is where it is now. I think it'll do fine there. I think I'll rethink about putting one in my 29 gal once its ready. It has a 3 1/2 in bed (a little over 4 in in some places).

It is a nice point and shoot and if that is what you are looking for great. It has limited manual settings and sometimes has trouble focusing. This was my first digi cam. After having this for a while I wish I would have bought something different (more advanced camera). I am used to my traditional Nikon SLR (F4, F100, N70). I am getting ready to purchase the new Minolta A2. Won't invest in a digital SLR for a few years. Most DSLR don't meet my need.
BTW, thank you
