Absolutely love seafood.

Except raw oysters.
I have raised cows, then ate them.
I have raised goats, then ate them.
I have raised chickens, then ate them.
I have raised rabbits, then ate them.
I must admit I have even eaten shrimp I raised in a tank.
But I will never put a seed in the ground to grow vegetables, because that's just disgusting.
I mean it's bad enough we walk on grass with no regard to the grass's feelings.

Ya, I used to love fish and chips, crab legs and shrimp, since starting my tanks I can't eat any of it. Yuck! Your not alone!

You know what's funny, I was watching a special on the equator on TV last night and saw a bird on some atoll eat a Powder Blue Tang right out of the water and I thought to myself "what a shame, they're such pretty fish". Guess tuna doesn't look as nice as a PBT to me.

But you need veggies for your tangs and angels.

How true. BTW, PBT have no meat on them.

Actually, I think the most beautiful fish in the ocean are Dolphin fish (mahi-mahi). Especially on the end of my line.

No, I won't either. My son caught a trout this past weekend. Knowing that I love fish and spend most of my time caring for my own or other's, he brought this fish into the house. He used a salt bucket that I had. The fish was curled around, scared, his gills were going rapidly. Him and his friend planned to kill it. I had a problem with it. I told them to take it outside, do what they must, and don't show it to me. I made them take the tin foil with them too. I knew they were going trout fishing, and people eat fish, but he didn't have to bring it in for me to see. The fish was so scared. Poor fishy

Okay I just replied to the reef addict thread and shared that you might be a reef addict if you can't eat seafood. I was just curious if I was the only one... ever since I started the hobby, I can not eat seafood anymore. What about you?
Occasionally a battered fish. I did have some grilled mahi mahi in Hawaii a while back. No shrimp, crab or lobster. They are the cockroaches of the sea.

Isopods
are the cockroaches of the sea, my friend. Lobsters are decapods (5 legs) and also known around south florida as "manna from heaven."

What kind of sick person would eat their pet? I don't eat dog or cat so i won't eat fish either.
I said this tongue in cheek....i don't eat seafood, but i do joke with my dog and tell him i would eat him if i had too......i do have that curiosity on what it tastes like though... i go to this chinese place with "beef" if thats what it is....my dad jokes its rat, he's never tasted beef like that, but if that's what it tastes like , i want more of it.
