Do you feed live rock?????????????

Hi i have just purchased some live rock and was wondering if you need to feed it w/supplements and stuff.

We dont feed our live rock so to speak, but we do add microplankton for other things in the tank, and the guy at the lfs said the lr would like it as well, not sure if thats ture, but were using it for toher things in the tank as well.

The "live" in the live rock is bacteria that processes nitrogen. As soon as the cycle begins, any ammonia, nitrate, or nitrite will feed your live rock.
Don't get into the habit of using too many suppliments, especially with a low bioload. Try not to add anything you don't test for.
