Do you floss?

I had a teeth cleaning two weeks ago and was told I have early signs of gum disease because I don't floss! Yikes! I have flossed everyday since that appointment. It used to hurt to floss and it took up too much time! I was back at the dentist today and my gums are nice and healthy! Amazing what two weeks of flossing can do.
Do you floss? If not, why?

I'm no regular flosser by any means but any time I eat chicken wings or popcorn, i use those little plastic flosser toothpick things
I guess if nothings stuck in my teeth i dont think about it, but when something is i gotta get it out of there

My dentist always yells at me twice a year because I rarely do it. I brush my teeth three times a day though!

I just learned at the dentist that flossing is dislodging bacteria cities from in between your gums and teeth AND removing stuff you can't brush away. I always though it was just to get stuff out from between the teeth. You learn something new everyday! lol

No, I'm not a regular flosser, in the traditional sense, because I'm always having to use those floss pics after every meal to get stuff out of my teeth. Seems like the older I get, the more crap gets stuck in my teeth. I use to never have this problem. Popcorn is a NO-NO anymore, and every time I eat chicken, I have a running joke with my wife that I have to go get this "yard bird out of my mouth".

That is what she told me. The bacteria grows between your teeth and gums. That is why you have to follow the tooth into the gum as you floss and not just floss in between your teeth to the gum line. After awhile (what was beginning to happen to me) your gums are no longer attached to the tooth and you get gum disease. Mine have re attached and happy now. lol. Crazy stuff. Got my attention obviously. haha
