It's a step in the right direction, Just need to need to sub forumn off of main topics instead of having everything on the main forumn page as its getting too busy.
i agree with this. Make a coral forum with lps, sps, ect ect as sub forums. The main forum page just have just the basics imo..
Example
Lighting equipment diy
..lighting forum
..equipment
..diy forum
corals
..LPS
..SPS
..softy
..non photo
..clam
..Zoa
Fish
..Reef safe
..Agro
..Clowns and anem
..Seahorse and pipefish
..Breeding
..Inverts
Hobbyist
..New Hobbyist
..NO NO NO <-- whats this anyways?
..Experienced
..Advances in the Hobby
Classifieds
..Live
..Dry
maybe not exactly like my list but something to that effect.

Yes, this is really the draft stages. SWF definitely appreciates your productive feedback and good suggestions.

I’m not a fan of it. To many forums. The ask admin is a bad idea. Like stated above, people will just pitch ideas that are of no use and bother admin.
No matter how you paint a turd, its still a turd.

I dislike the new format quite a bit. Much too difficult to navigate and very redundant IMO. More is not better in this case.

I like the new forums but I think it needs to be organized better. Organizing it with topics and subtopics would make it a lot easier to find what your looking for.

i personally never liked -- for two reasons, the search function was only usable in wee early morning when no one was on or you couldnt use it unless you paid...and then because of how many different topics there were...you could post the same thing in 5 different topics because it could go there, and made it harder to figure out where to go when you wanted to find something...but thats just my opinion..i'm a small community type of person, so it follows me everywhere...it could turn out to be wonderful though!

Yes, subtopics would probably be better. In corals you would have SPS, LPS, Corallimorpharians, Zoanthids and so on. That would make it easier to navigate and less crowded on the main page. Like the new topics though no doubt
but as suggested before an ID forum would really be nice.

I thinks it's very confusing now and posts are spread out too much. Subtopics would be much better!

personally i like the added topics, just not the way they are displayed.
i agree that there should be some all encompassing links to subforums.
there were way too many links/forums to look over just to find the aquarium.

I liked just having "corals". Some of us, me at the front of the line, don't really have a grasp on LPS, SPS and softies. I'd be wary of posting in the latter three forums as I would be getting flamed by some pro admonishing me for using the wrong forum.

Oh and move Aquarium back down to the bottom or near the bottom. I really don't like having to have to actually 'look' for it lol.
