Since I've been getting a little heat lately (LOL) for the clarity of my pics, I decided to take some with the flash on. The colors are a little skewed but they are soooo clear. Enjoy...

So everyone else has seen my pics a few too many times, huh. It's ok, I'll have something pretty cool to show off next weekend.

You know what would make for some interesting pics? Feed them to your shark, ray, and eel!
LOL...that would be so sad.

Aquacultured... not to sound uninformed but if that means captive bred then yes they are.

Yes, that means captive bred. Sorry, us pilots are supposed to talk like that....its tough though.
I can't believe they actually want us to sound professional?!?!?!

Thanks....it got pretty scary for a little while. I thought I was going to lose my job, but as of right now, I think I am okay. And the mechanic strike made my work day VERY stessful, but things are getting better. But, I try to look on the bright side...it takes me 2-3 minutes to get through security at the busiest times! Its called, "the pilot lane." We all have really dumb nicknames for things. But, thanks!

I have been flying for Northwest for 21 years now, and I started off flying a little Bombardier turboprop, now I am flying 747's internationally. I usually go to Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, or Seoul. I do mostly the Asia routes, however I have also flown to London, and Frankfurt. But, the scary part was when employees who had been working for the company for much longer than I have got layed off....very scary times. I thought I was going to lose it all. But, things are getting better.

Those are some long flights... beware of the bird flu. Unfortunately the market has hurt so many pilots. It's sad because pilots have such a unique skill and take such a risk everyday. On another note, I hope you have someone to take care of your fish while you're away.

I am fully aware of the bird flu, and we do take serious precautions to avoid all this. Airport authorities have the right to pull someone aside and check them over for it, and possibly quarantine. I honestly don't consider it a risk. Yes, it can be dangerous, but for me, its a passion. Its tough being away from my wife and two daughters all the time though. But luckily I get several days, possible a week or even two in between flights. By US law, pilots can only fly a certain amount of hours each month, and when you fly the long routes as I do, your hours are used up quickly. Don't worry, my wife takes care of my tank while I am gone. I trust her....sort of. LOL...she is very good at taking care of it.

Hey JC,
I haven't seen your pics till now. WOW! You have some great looking livestock in that tank. LOVE the ray! How big is that tank? Makes me wanna FOWLR.

BTW I have noticed the same thing when using the flash-it changes the color of some things.

MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better pics.

Using a flash is always gonna "capture" the movement of the fish, etc...and cause them to NOT be blurry.
