Do you name your fish?

My wife and I have an agreement, I buy them and she names them:
Percula Clowns: Fred and Ginger (because they're always dancing)
Hippo Tang: Neon (because of her bright, vibrant colors)
Yellowtail Damsel: Moe (Larry and Curly have since passed on)
Coral Banded Shrimp: Harry (have you ever seen one upclose)
Long-spined Urchin: Spike (I'm not sure where she got that name
)

me and my fish pretend to be super upity and artsy when we say it but we say is
"reef tanks are living art"
so we dont name them
but we call them by their common name :)

I used to have a tiny firefish named Twitchy. But when i added an anthias he got so freaked he hid under a rock for 2.5 weeks. I eventually caught him and brought him back to the store, i wonder where he is now...

I have heard this too, Its bad luck to name them. So I have held off. Even though I think it would be better for me to acknowledge them, then as yellow guy for my yellow tang and my royal gramma, "grandma."

Well, we were naming them all, but my sweetie's all seemed to die if he named them. So, I have been left with the task of naming them all. My daughter and step-daughter help out when I am at a loss.
Currently we have:
Bob and Bob Jr. (or BJ)--GSM
Fuzzy--Fuzzy dwarf lion
Dumb and Dumber--2 green chromis
Snake, Guido, and Lips--Turbo snails
Alas, the red snapper needs a new home and has yet to receive a name other than--"Dang thing wants to eat AGAIN?"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
