Does a card need an envelope to be effective?

SERIOUSLY. Dude, give the man-card thing a rest. I vote for an automatic revokation of Darthtang's Man-Card - This is for the abuse of the countless, meaningless man-card call-outs.
REAL men (like Chuck Norris) would never even think/talk about the man-card.
Mimzy, I know we've had our differences, but I'm 100% on board with you about this one.

I sense some discomfort in you. Young padawan you have much to learn yet. For the record, how many man card threads have I started?

It's not about the inception of threads, but the peppering of threads that needs to be toned down a bit. However, the Jedi quotes and skills are to be greatly encouraged IMO.

I didn't fake an excited feeling. It seemed like an after thought. If it had a envelope, at least some suspense would have been built up.
What are your thoughts?
Discuss..
Did it come with a present??

If one is secure enough to publicly announce things they do in a public forum that might bring one to ridicule their manhood, then any comments I make should not matter. As The individual is at peace with themselves.

I for one hate cards! I hate trying to pick them out, I hate getting them and acting like I'm reading them, I hate giving them...as if I'd actually say the crap printed on those things.
But what I dislike even more is when I get fussed at for simply signing my name and not adding a "personal touch". I don't have a personal touch, so it's hard for me to fake it, lol.
Shogun, kudos to you for writing your own, one of these days your gonna hafta teach me how to do that, lol
CFR, look at your card in a positive way. At least you didn't have to act all suspenseful and appreciative.
I hate cards.
