bury itself? I really want to get one for my tank but we have crushed coral substrate. Will that hurt him in any way? It seems like I've heard somewhere that they bury, or am I wrong about that? I have lots of live rock and plenty of hiding places!

Mine hides in the rock or a large barnical. I have soft sand and i have never seen ot try to bury himself. We call him Oscar as he looks grouchy and pops hid head out of the Barnical.

Lawnmower Blennies are not burrowing fish so you shouldnt have anything to worry about. Just make sure you've got plenty of hiding places in your rockwork for him to hang around in. Mine is all over my rock, in and out of all the crevices and caves...

My LMB and My Diamond are not real fond of each other. But it is sort a like a sibling rivalry thing. Similar body shape and size. But it is sort a like a sibling rivalry thing. Similar body shape and size. Diamonds clean the substrate well, but they have some issues. LMB's are the perfect fish. But no real fighting issues between them, just territory discussions. the LMB has been in this tank a very long time, the Diamond about a year now. Here are mine........

Basically the same thing with my LMB and blue spotted kole tang. Same feeding habits. Tang likes to chase but the LMB is a bit more agile through all the rock work, pops out on the other side of the tank and goes back to eating. I'd call my an adopted rivalry since they don't look a thing alike.

I still would see that Aglae is there for him. Mine eat anything that hits the water, but he was a long time in learning it was food. Yes I think Algae sheets help or maybe are necessary in the long term health of them, if there is not a source in the tank.

I agree. They need algae in their diet. If you are feeding frozen formula foods then you can get the proper meats and veggies needed by all of your fish.
