Does any invert or fish eat cyano algae?

I've had a small red slime/cyano algae outbreak. I think it's because my phosphates are too high but I'm working on getting them lowered. I've also tried adding a small power head on the back of my hex tank towards the bottom to help the circulation be better down there so no waste can have time to settle which I was told was also a cause of this outbreak. Are there any inverts or anything that actually are reef safe with other corals and fish but will also feed on that particular kind of algae? Just thought there's no shame in asking. Thanks in advance!

Not any that I know of. That isn't to say there aren't any, though.
Sand sifting gobies help prevent it from spreading by keeping the sand agitated.
How old is your tank. Cyano outbreaks are very common in newly established tanks, and usually go away in due time.

Have you upgraded your lights, or has the tank gotten warmer lately? Those may be a cause.
Also, what is your phosphate level? I've heard increased phosphates can cause a cyano outbreak.

I think I read on here once that their is a crab that is rumored to eat cyano, a Halloween crab maybe?

it's a 42 g Hex tank and I have a 250 w MH running on it which is more than enough light. Yes, my phosphates are high but I'm lowering them gradually. I just thought if there was a critter that could help out, then that might be useful. Does anyone else know?

Okay I found it. It is the Halloween hermit crab. Do a search for "hermit crab identifications" it's the thread by wax32. Sorry, I don't know how to post a link to the thread.
