Does anybody have this light setup

36" SunPod 2x250w14k-HQI w/Blue/White LED's Model 1163.
And what do you think of it.
will it make a huge elec. bill

In my expierence i have a smaller sunpod on my 24g aquapod and the electric bill has
gone up a little. Just in my expirence.

Just look at your current electric bill for your killowatt hours price and do the math. Figure your halides will be on for 6-8 hours and the LED's will be on 12 or 24(if they are used for actinics and moonlighting)
a killowatt is 1000 watts, so every day your halides will consume 4 killowatt hours if you had them on for 8 hours. the LED's you could add in there, but thier wattage is going to be really minimal.
So lets say your charge was $0.10 per killowatt hour for ease of math.
you have 4 killowatt hours per day times 30 days. so .40 x 30 = 12 bucks a month. throw in a couple dollars for the LEDS or do the math for that seperatley.
