does anybody know about calcium?

i have a 125 gal that i just started about 3 weeks ago and all my test are fine but my calcium is high is there anyway i can bring it down its about 480

That is not bad at all. What is your pH and kH/alkalinity?

I try to get my up to 480, I would not worry about that but how is the PH and Alk. When calcium starts to rise your Alk can fall.

I did not get my water tested for ph or alk.
I am going to try and get up to the fish store eather Tues. or Wed.
then I will let you know
I was told that if your cal. is up to 500 than I would start killing stuff

I agree. You definitely should get your own pH and kH test kit so that you can test these regularly.
