Does anyone have pictures of marine algae in YOUR tank/sump?

Here is some feather caulerpa in my 33 cube. I trim this every week and get a gallon container full. This is just after a trimming.

This may sound stupid but I'm still learning :) Does marine algae have roots that embeds themselves in the sand or are they free floating, etc...??

I've seen both types. Caulerpa generally sends out roots to grab rocks.
