Does Ich Look Like Tiny Little Bubbles On The Sides Of My Hippo????

CAN ANY ONE HELP!!! :help: i THINK MY BLUE HIPPO HAS ICH< ITS A BIG FISH I JUST GOT FROM SALT WATER FISH IT LOOKS LIKE TINY AIR BUBBLES ALL OVER IT ANY ONE know???? ITS EATIN GOOD, AND SWIMS GOOD AND SEEMS HAPPY BUT!!!!

could be a form of fungus. I had a yellow tang have some kind of fungus.. Never found out exactly what kind. They say sometimes it can never go away. Tangs in general easily catch diseases or parasites like fungus or ich. IMO, what I did was throw him in the qt tank. and treat w/ hyposalinity. That's what I do. Hard to say unless you take a good pic of it though. Good Luck

3 fish of mine just died..I thought they were air bubbles and they were eating fine and everything but each day 1 died..my last one was a clownfish and before he died if you watch how your hippo does mine swam fine then would kind of seem like hes drunk he just went all over and hit rocks and stuff and finally just died..

If your hippo does have ICH the fish will have tiny little white spots all over the body of the fish. It will look like salt or sand on the skin of the fish. If this is the case you should qt you fish and try dipping you food you feed it in garlic and/or hypo the qt tank. Good luck!
