not dead but it looks like something happened such as the water quality isn't good enough for it or it was acclimated poorly. i could be wrong though. i would only say this if this is how it looks all the time.

wish i knew, i don't know how to de-stress an anemone other than make sure the water quality is good and maybe put some stress coat into the tank.

Imo pull it out of dt and put it in qa tank.
And do w/c in dt if it is going down you do not need it in dt.
Keep up with w/c in qa and dt.
What lights are you useing?
Are you runing a skimmer?

how did you acclimate him. Mine did some ugly things the first week. Never spit though. Don't touch him he is stressed a may come around keep a very close eye on it because if he does die it will be toxic to the tank. Up load daily pics of him so we all can help you when and if to pull him out.

Its dead or dying, if it went in your tank yesterday then IMO there were issues before you bought it. Or your water quality is extremly bad. As asked already how did you acclimate it? It looks very bleached, mouth gaping open and expelling anything with those other conditions is not good. I would take it out if it has a very bad ordor get rid of it its completly gone. IMO even if it doesnt your chances of bringing it back to a healthy state are slim and none.

IMO....anemones dont need to be acclimated...just float and dump, only ones ive lost where the condys i bought befor i knew anything about lighting needs, and even this web site will tell you this when you go to buy one that they dont come in hardly any water and most the time that water that is in the bad is the water it let out when it deflated..but acclimateing cant hurt anything

if i were you i wouldnt bother having an anemone at all. they are more trouble than they are worth. if your looking for something for your clown to play in try a frogspawn, hammer coral or even a big shroom.

My Maroons and my bubble coral are great together. Perhaps try one of those, assuming your lighing is good enough. Bubbles are pretty easy LPS.
I tried a LTA and it pretty much fell apart in about a week or two. Live and learn!
