Yeah, the LFSs here have all bleached anemones, pathetic really that these poor things suffer before being ultimately killed by the newbie who buys them; sorry, had to rant 
Three times a week is probably fine, I mean they came around right? I'd probably feed daily, but that's just me. I kinda like watching them eat, nice and creepy
Your anemone will probably find a happy place, but the problem may be that they are simply bleached and need to be fed. I'm certainly no expert on them, but I would feed them daily if they are bleached. Also, they may never regain their symbiotic little buddies, which means they will eventually die. If he is attached to a rock, go ahead and move him, but if he moves away, leave him be.
