Got an order of various snails today. The mexican turbos and queen conchs were in water. Nass. and astrea were shipped dry in a bag of air. I have never seen this. The water did not leak out and the bags were puffed up full of air. I don't think any of the astrea's will live. They keep falling over. Is this the new way to ship? Any others seen this?

Thats the best way to ship them. I have recieved them from 3 different places and 2 shipped them dry. 100% survival.

See, I learn something everyday on this site! Thanks Hot 883. Sorry to say though I don't think any of the astrea snails will survive. Don't quite understand why...it's only a 2 hour trip from swf.com to my house and I think they go by truck. Oh well.

There is the 15 days. So just acclimate as the instructions say and should be just fine.
