How does the case even make it to court?
People who have no legal or moral right to even be in the country are caught on this poor guys land. He stops them and calls the cops while holding them at gun point. It isn't like he shot them or set the dogs on them.

No doubt there. I told the wife if we ever win the lotto we are buying land on the border and fencing it in to create a free range refuges for Pitbulls, rottweilers and Dobermans deemed to mean to be pets

What is messed up is the judge didn't just dismiss this as stupid. Blows my mind. At least he didn't turn it into a mine field....

It bother's me about as much as any lawsuit would that involves trespassers being stopped and held at gun point and later sueing the guy who did it.
