Dog Face Puffer

I bought a small dog face puffer thursday from my lfs and I guess I didnt noitce it at the store, But he has some kind of eraser size sore near his gil. Its like a pink flesh wound or something. My question is should I put him in a 10g and add melafix or something? Thnx in advance

I wouldn't do anything at this point, since you didn't QT the fish. Feed it garlic soaked food and if you can get Zoe or Zoecon, use this alternatively with the food. Keep your eye on the sore.
Are you sure that the sore didn't occur while in your tank from harrassment?

If I didnt have anything else in the tank I would think that would of happend, cause it looks more like a scar than anything.
