Dogface puffer

I just bought a dogface puffer about 1 week ago, and he has done nothing except swim up and down in the corner....he's not eating. Any suggestions? Right now I have been feeding my fish Krill and Mysis shrimp.

My porcupine did that to. He's probably not hungry. I fed my porcupine a couple of feeder gold fish,and he ate them. I am no expert so read some other peoples replies too.

this is average and ok. dont worry he is in a acclimation stage.

how big is he ? and did you qt him b4 putting him in main tank?I fed mine when it was smaller aqua yum yum squid cubes they have garlic in them which entices them to eat it..you can try starting him with stick feeding once he gets the hang of that even hand feeding.but try a varity if hes small choopped foods will prolly do best .i wish i could put a video on this site ..to show how cool they can be.

He's eating now....I guess he was just getting acclimated.

accually im not sure if they used natural garlic clove in them or not Ihave heard of others using fresh squeezed garlic as an additive.its for vit c to keep imune systems up.and also the smell entises them to eat better.I do however use an additive called extreme garlic once a day in feeding i add 2 drops and a cup of fresh water thaw frozen foods in this and then feed.1 oz bottle will last me over 6 months

FEED HIM FROZEN MUSCEL!!!! THat is the best and most healthy food for them anyway
