Dogface Puffer

We got our new member of our 200 tank, a 10 inch dogface puffer. We have never had a puffer before so opened for any hints.
200 gallon
13 inch horned shark
12 inch blue spotted grouper
10 inch dogface puffer
9 inch eel
150 lbs of LS
125 lbs of LR

Great fish, I have had mine for 2 yrs. Never bothers any other fish, always ready to eat and will eat anything, you will enjoy this fish. Good Luck

Someone told us to feed the dogface 4 times a week. Is that good advice or is twice a day better advice?

My dogface is not as large but is a good 5 inches and we feed him twice a day in smaller quantities and seems to work well

Today the dogface ate breakfast just fine this morning. He and the blue spotted grouper seemed to be building a friendship. They tend to hang out next to eachother. The eel seems to be very shy of the puffer. Do puffers eat ells?

no. But they do eat inverts

So far our new addition, the Dogface, is doing well. He eats like a teenaged boy. He and the grouper take turns when we put in food. We hope to put up pics of our tanks on a our website soon.
