can someone please tell me if this fish is too agressive for my tank.
...someone told me that it was a good beginner fish, but now that i have him i have heard he is aggressive....i have clowns and some other damsels...planning on a couple tangs in the future...should i get rid of him or will he be ok?

how is he treating your fish so far?? i have heard that those fish can really start to get aggressive with age and also if they were the first in the tank. if they are alone in the tank in the beggining they tend to claim the whole tank as there territory. I have a 4 stripe and a blue damsel and they were very docile at first....but are now starting to get more aggressive. i would say lose the domino as he will likely get more and more aggressive. if you really like him (and if you do i understand im attached to my damsels!
) and he is behaving well thus far though, you could keep him around and monitor him. but if you go that route...when he starts to get aggressive...it likely will just increase with time...so dont hesitate to give him the boot!

he isnt too bad now....now and then he will chase a fish for a sec. but i havent seen him harm them...but if he does start to get worse i probally will take your advice. just when i got him i was not aware he could be aggressive. they failed to tell me that!

My blue damsel is getting very aggressive so I just bought a fish trap to take him out of my tank, he is pestering my poor hippo tang, so its time for the damsel to hit the road

I had one when I started my tannk and he was great and I love him until I got my mated Maroon Clown and an Anemone he thought the Anemone was for him and he beat up the Clowns soo... he had to go he got really mean fast so watch him close.BTW there really hard to get out of the tank now that there in there I had to take all the rocks out every time (THAT NO FUN) soo IMO get rid of the Damsel. There a lot of work later....

You have a relatively small tank, and in a small tank they can become more of an issue. Keep an eye out for trouble. As an aside though, I don't think you have room in there for a "couple" of tangs. Definitely want to do some research there before buying and perhaps regretting the purchase.

well i am sorry i wasnt thinking. i do understand that i could really only keep one. but it isnt a must....i just dont want him to hurt what i have now and what i might get in the future....but i do have an anenome and he stays in it....no one else! well no one else has ever tried it as far as i know......
