Well Iv'e had this colony of green stary polyps in my tank for over a week, and they have yet to open up. They are still purple under neath but there a few places where the coral is turning yellow in color. Sorry I don't have a pic, im in class right now. My colony of zoo's are still doing fine.

if nothing after a week, i'd say its not a good sign. i'd double check your water, lighting, and flow and see if you can't promote some growth.

what lighting and where do you have them in the tank. closeing up for extended periods of time isnt uncommon but the turning yellow concerns me abit.

I have them in a stock 14g biocube, on a piece of lr. Its about 2 to 3 inches off my sand bed. I just noticed the yellow today, after it got knocked over off the rock onto the sand by a hermit. I'm not sure how long it was upside down in the sand but it wasn't more that a couple of hours. Also I will sometimes notice the "buds" of the gsp protruding a little.

Mine was doing the same thing. I moved them up. More light and more flow. They are growing like mad now. It took about 3 days for them to open the first time tho.
